Data Validation and Verification
Producing Accurate Data
Our proprietary AeroNavData database and Output software allow our analysts to perform rigorous integrity checks and initiate detailed data problem reports that facilitate the resolution of coding, design, and data discrepancies.
All data discrepancies discovered by our analysts are logged and then reviewed by an independent problem review board. Recommendations from the board seek to ensure AeroNavData’s coding does not deviate from the source provider’s intent. Active communication with the affected stakeholders, such as the FAA, or a Major Command (MAJCOM) TERPS office, ensures our data comply with the original intent of the procedure design. (See page 13 of the Air Force Instruction 11-230, with respect to MAJCOM TERPS review functions.)
