Leah began working as Marketing Manager at AeroNavData in April 2011 and fully embraces the unique opportunity of working every day with a team of intelligent and talented people in whom she trusts implicitly and with whom she enjoys collaborating.
She started her career working for the Dept. of Defense as a Cartographer, and then went to work for Intergraph Corporation as a system engineer, consultant, customer liaison, partner manager, and trainer. While at Intergraph her responsibilities took her to Huntsville AL, London England, and Washington DC in support of Federal and Defense customers. In addition to her work at Intergraph, her career has included consulting, marketing, and industry management positions with Bentley Systems, ESRI, Oracle, and other industry consulting firms – and took her to Philadelphia PA, Nashville TN, and currently to Vienna VA.
Professionally she is known for her team-building and collegial work style and has a knack for problem solving and getting to the heart of sticky issues. She thrives at attentively listening to customer issues and concerns, and often finds a creative and effective solution for them. Leah is most passionate about cooperatively solving problems in an efficient, resourceful and professional manner with her innovative teammates. She is thrilled to work with an experienced team that is positive, optimistic and love what they do.
Leah grew up in Louisville, KY and went to college at Western Kentucky University, getting her Bachelor’s degree in Geography, and minor in Graphic Arts. When not at home you can often find Leah with friends and family on a sunny beach or sitting somewhere in the glow of some firelight.
Her favorite quote is by Isak Dinesen: “The cure for anything is salt water – sweat, tears, or the sea”.
